The U-City Art Walk’s main mission is to uplift and help Artists, and creators of all kind thrive, and shine a spot light on up and coming small businesses and raw talent and in the Philadelphia and tri-state area. Geared around “Art & Culture”—The U-City Art Walk a safe and creative outdoor initiative, initially created during the outbreak of Covid-19 in 2020, to help small business and Artists make an honest living from unfortunate means of scarcity and no work. 80% of our network of Artists and Businesses have been laid off or lost their jobs.
Our Artists and Small Businesses have become known in the area of Powelton village— “the walk’s” home where consumers and buyers come and patronage creativity and one of kind pieces monthly on the corners of 37th and Lancaster & Powelton Aves.

“The U-City Art Walk” captures walkers and consumers of many kind—ranging from other neighboring creatives, students (Drexel, UPENN) as well as day to day city professionals and front line health care workers
Set in the heart of University City on the corner of 37th
& Lancaster Avenue, “The U-City Art Walk” is also sponsored by a neighboring ice creamery “Cocos Cookies and Creamery”. The location spans from the corner of Lancaster to Powelton and 37th in a square like island-inlet. The area is filled with a mixture of students, workers, creatives and other artists all blended together in an awesome and cool gentrified circle
